What have I learn
The internet technology is still new to me as I rarely use it. From this assignment I learn how to use the internet as a medium to express my ideas and sharing some thought to the world. I can also use the net to communicate with my friends. It is fun to design the page, editing, and searching the information needed to complete this assignment. I also realize that the computer can do many other things besides playing games and do homework. The most important thing that I earn from this assignment is that I learned to improve my English. Working with my friends, searching for words in the dictionary, try to make a great sentence, and then try to apply it. This experience did worth a lot to me.

As far as I know, people around the world already acknowledge about the automobile effect. The culture that it created, the hazardous CO2 emission, the traffic jams, the luxury, the fun and let’s not forgets the highway tolls.
In the environment action, the JPJ (Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan) has already set the maximum CO2 emission from cars. The owner of the car will be summons if the JPJ found the car exceed. There aren’t many green keepers here in Malaysia, but still Malaysia is one of the countries that have lowest CO2 level (our country climate is hot because we live on the tropical climate, we don’t have 4 season).
From the autosports industry, we also have legal and illegal race tournaments. We already had been the host for the international F1 racing for many years. The Sepang Circuit has been proven to be one of the favorite racing circuit in the world. There are also the off-road tournaments like rally and 4x4 jungle trekking as Malaysia have amazing rain forests that have not been explored.
As for the economy, the local cars sales still put up a good fight against imported cars. It is because the PROTON and PERODUA cars are well known for the fuel saving engine technology. Plus, the Malaysia government gives subsidy on the petrol price making it one of the lowest in the world.
As for me, I didn’t own a car yet. But I hope that in the future, the automobile industry produce a more green, flexibility, and safety cars.

Price of RON 95 at RM1.80 from Tuesday
KUALA LUMPUR: The newly introduced RON 95 fuel is now priced at RM1.80 - five sen higher than the previous RM1.75.
Meanwhile, RON 97 is upgraded as a premium product and has gone up to RM2.05 from RM1.80.
Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the new prices were decided based on the current method of Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM).
“Although the price is now 5 sen higher, the Government is still subsidising 33.81 sen per litre (of RON 95) which is equivalent to RM304mil monthly,” he told reporters after the launch of Primax 95 by Petronas here on Monday.
Currently, the Government is subsidising RON 97 by 42.72 sen per litre.
The cost for RON 95 went up 102% from USD$ 40.75 per barrel to USD$ 82.30 in December last year and August respectively.

AAM Chairman Yang Mulia Tunku Mudzafar Tunku Mustapha said Government funding that is being channeled to deserving parties via the newly established Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM), a body under the auspices of the Motorsports Commission of Malaysia (MCM), would inject a much needed financial boost to the sport particularly at the grassroots level.
“Funding, or the lack of it, has always been a central issue in developing motorsports, initiatives that could not be viably sustained by a non-profit organization like AAM with the absence of Government financial assistance. Now that a proper channel for the disbursement of a substantial amount of funds has been established by the Government, we are optimistic of the sport developing further especially at the grassroots level,” said Tunku Mudzafar.
Under the new structure, MCM will distribute Government funding for development projects and manage other aspects of commercial development in the motor sport industry but all applications and the evaluation process will be done by MAM.

The petrol price is rising up high every year. This will affect other stuff as well such as home groceries, fresh market price, public transportation, and some non-related item (like roti canai and teh tarik, maybe they did put some petrol in it). This is a common phenomenon in Malaysia.
There is alternative to this problem. Some Malaysian people use the Light Railway Transit system (LRT) or other city transit that relies solely on electricity to go places. Yet many people love to use cars to work as it provide more road safety for its driver compare to riding motorbike which can relate to many problems.

The government funding did it job by helping the local motorsports industry to grow. Which can lead to local R&D so we don’t left out in the automotive industry. As we know the world car manufacturers already invented the electric cars, so I hope that Malaysia car maker will take another big step in making the first local electric car, since the electricity is renewable. It may move at decent speed for a start, but I’m sure that it will make a very fast progression after that. Producing this kind of cars might not stop the CO2 emission but at least it will reduce it.
